Pediatric Plastic Surgery

Personalized Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for Children

From routine laceration repairs to reshaping infant skulls and even separating conjoined twins, the plastic surgeons at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital work with advanced technology and a personalized approach in treating each child and family.

We perform a wide range of reconstructive procedures, from restoring a symmetric smile in babies with cleft lip and palate to treating a wide range of congenital hand deformities to maximize function.

We use the latest in three-dimensional imaging and surgical planning, as well as advanced reconstructive techniques, to treat all children from birth through adulthood. Our goal is to restore form and function in a way that maximizes each child’s ability to enjoy childhood fully. We are dedicated to using all of the latest innovations in our field to obtain the best results possible for your child.

Our Mission

Our mission is to address the needs of each child and their family on an individual basis, working together to recommend a treatment plan that best fits their needs. Plastic surgery is often about quality of life as well as life-saving operations, and we strive to create a holistic approach to treating children.

The comprehensive team at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital allows us to provide personalized care that is comfortable for children and families. From fellowship-trained pediatric anesthesiologists to pediatric nurses, speech and physical therapists, our team is entirely focused on working together to provide the best care possible.

Lifelong Care and Follow Up

At Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, we recognize that surgical care does not end when the operation is over. We work together to follow children and their families as they grow and change, to make sure their reconstructive results and neurocognitive development continues to thrive as they become adults. From prenatal consultations to calls from college students, we work with families to help them feel supported throughout the entire surgical journey.
